Frequently asked questions

Before
we begin.

Clear answers about cost, the build, and making the website yours.

Before we start

Can you improve my existing website, or do I need a new one?

We look at your existing site together. A focused update may be enough; if the platform or layout is holding you back, we can plan a rebuild.

Will my site look like one of your samples?

The samples show possible styles and features. Your site gets its own design direction, built around your business, content, and customers.

How much should I budget?

A one-page website starts at $1,200 USD with the founding client offer (standard price $1,800). The offer covers the first 10 fixed-price projects, with permission to feature the finished work; a signed scope and deposit reserve your spot. We agree on scope and price before work begins. Provider charges and any applicable tax are separate.

What will I pay for after the website is built?

You pay your domain, hosting, and any email, form, or booking providers directly. There’s no required monthly agency fee; future work is optional and quoted separately.

During the build

What do you need from me?

Your current site, goals, and agreed text, logo, photos, and business details—with permission to use them. Light editing is included; tell me if you need help creating content.

When could my new website be ready?

We set a schedule around the scope, my availability, and when your content and account access are ready. New features or delayed content can move the launch date.

What if I want changes before launch?

Packages include two consolidated revision rounds, up to three total hours. You review before launch; changes beyond the agreed scope are priced before work begins.

Can customers contact me or book through the site?

A simple contact form is included. The branded intake package adds tailored questions; connecting an existing booking tool is scoped separately. Provider accounts belong to you.

Launch & ownership

Can I keep my domain name and business email?

Usually, yes. We check your domain, hosting, and email access before making changes. Keep existing services active until launch is verified; account recovery and email migration may need a separate scope.

What do I receive at handoff?

Your finished website source, account access, and a walkthrough. Your domain and hosting stay in your name; you can choose another developer or compatible host later. Third-party assets keep their own licenses.

Can I make my own updates?

Tell me before we build if you want a visual editor for text or photos. Standard packages include source and handoff; an editor requires a separately agreed scope and may have provider costs.

What if I need help after launch?

Thirty days of fixes for defects in the delivered scope are included. Later updates or new features are optional, subject to scheduling, and priced before work starts.
